Intructables provided the 3D model used to create this bowling set - download the file.
We used a 120-watt Fusion 40 with Color Mapping turned on.
Color Mapping Settings: Blue lines set to speed 30%, power 100% and frequency 100. Red lines set to speed 100%, power 10% and frequency 100.
Start by opening the design file. Print settings will vary based on wattage and if you are using a smaller system than the Fusion 40 you'll need to rearrange the slices to fit the sheet size you are using.
Place a sheet of cardboard in the laser and, utilizing the Color Mapping feature and the suggested speed and power settings above, cut 10 pins.
Open the bowling ball file and repeat the process.
Start by inserting the numbered horizontal pieces into one vertical piece in numerical order. Finish by assembling the remaining vertical pieces and glue if desired.
Repeat the process for 10 pins and the bowling ball.
Finished bowling set. You can also increase rigidity and value by experimenting with different 1/8 material such as plywood or acrylics!
