One of the best things about working at Epilog is all the cool materials we can work with when thinking of creative ideas on the fly.
We were in need of some quick gift wrap and found fabric to be the ideal choice! Whether you create reusable pieces, customized wrap or even gift bags, this idea is quick, easy and fun!
Laser engrave all types of fabrics to create unique gift wrap for your customers.
A darker fabric, like this brown fabric, leaves a dark mark when engraved with a laser.
On a lighter color you can leave just the hint of a design.
We used a 50-watt Helix with the following settings: 100% speed, 10% power, 400 dpi for engraving and 100% speed, 15% power, 5000 frequency for cutting.
Select the file you'd like to engrave and modify it to meet your needs. Next, insert the fabric into the laser and send your job to the laser. Your wrapping paper is ready to go!
Using double-sided tape, wrap your gifts with the fabric just as you would with paper wrapping. If you create the bag design, loop and ribbon through each of the holes to create a draw-string tie.
We'll send you a brochure, as well as engraved and cut samples created with the laser.
