We used a 50-watt Helix with the following settings:
DPI: 600; Speed: 60%, Power: 100%
Let's start by setting up your rotary attachment. First, turn off your machine and remove the engraving/cutting table and crumb tray (if applicable). Next, insert the rotary and plug it into the connection in the back of the machine. Then turn the machine back on and you will see the laser head reposition itself at the rotary.
Next, using the gauge, manually focus the laser. If you are unsure of the placement of your design, draw a vector box around the graphic and run ONLY that job with the lid open and red dot pointer on - this will give you a clear indicator of where your design will end up. It will also ensure the laser head does not run into the handle of the mug.
Once you are confident in the placement of your graphic, remove the vector box and send the job to the laser and press go!
